Hocus Pocus from Night Owl Quilting


Becky made this fabulous quilt for a friend who loves Halloween in the same way she does.  Becky pulled her favorite blocks from a few years of the Spooky Season Samplers to put together this fun layout.  I just love the lavender background fabric she chose.


She found some great fabrics to really brings these blocks to life.  I immediately suggested the Goassamer pantograph when I saw the quilt, and Becky loved the idea.  We chose a lavender thread that doesn't call too much attention to itself.

My Halloween Butter Tarts from Night Owl Quilting



I am so happy that I was able to to finish this Halloween quilt before the big day!    I had a Fat Quarter bundle of the Spooky n Sweeter Collection from Art Gallery Fabrics waiting for the right project for a couple of years.  Trying to come up with an interesting way to use them was actually how the Butter Tarts pattern for Highway 10 Designs came to be.

Jumbo Spiders from Night Owl Quilting


These Jumbo Spider quilts were made by Andrea.  The pattern is from Pen and Paper patterns and is the bonus included in the Spider Quilt Pattern.  Andrea indeed made 4 quilts - 2 for her children and two for her niece and nephew!


The fabrics on the fronts of all quilts are from the Speckled line from Ruby Star Society.  I thought the Gossamer pantograph seemed like perfect fit and Andrea agreed.

 


Andrea splurged on some fabulous fabric for the backs from the Spooky and Sweet and  Spooky and Sweeter lines from Art Gallery Fabrics.
